The American Pakistani Advocacy Group (APAG) team attended the inauguration reception for Mark Levine, celebrating the beginning of his tenure as NYC Comptroller alongside community leaders, advocates, and stakeholders from across the city.
APAG President Ali Rashid serves on NYC Comptroller Mark Levine’s transition team, further underscoring APAG’s active role in representing immigrant and small-business communities at the highest levels of New York City government.

The American Pakistani Advocacy Group (APAG) team at the historic inauguration of Zohran Kwame Mamdani, officially sworn in as the 112th Mayor of New York City, the first Muslim, South Asian immigrant to hold this office, and the youngest mayor in 135 years.
