Our Work 2026

APAG Advocates at NYIC 2026 Member Congress Conference

Jan 2026

The American Pakistani Advocacy Group (APAG) participated in the NYIC’s 2026 Member Congress Conference.

Our team took part in educational workshops, campaign strategy sessions, networking, and direct legislative visits with New York State lawmakers—advocating for a more just, equitable, and inclusive New York for all communities.

APAG proudly advocated for critical legislation, including:
- Language Access
- Civic Engagement
- New York for All
- Access to Representation

Together, we are strengthening our collective voice and building a more inclusive future for New York.

APAG Attends Historic Inauguration of Mayor Zohran Mamdani

Jan 2026

The American Pakistani Advocacy Group (APAG) team at the historic inauguration of Zohran Kwame Mamdani, officially sworn in as the 112th Mayor of New York City, the first Muslim, South Asian immigrant to hold this office, and the youngest mayor in 135 years.

Thank you to the entire APAG team. After countless hours of hard work throughout the primary and general election campaigns, it is truly special to stand together and witness this historic moment become reality.
