Marking a momentous occasion, the American Pakistani Advocacy Group (APAG) achieved an unprecedented feat by putting forth a resolution in the United States Congress. The resolution's purpose is to officially recognize March 23rd as "Pakistan Day" within the United States of America.
Achieved a historic milestone by co-naming a street in Queens, New York, as "Allama Iqbal Avenue." The co-naming took place at the intersection of 101 Avenue and 109 Street in Richmond Hill. This proud moment coincides with Pakistan's 76th Independence Day and holds great significance for both Pakistan and the Pakistani-American community.
